Insurer MiWay has offered its clients R1,000 back on their excess, when they submit their motor vehicle accident claims via the MiWay App, provided they complete the required fields and it is found that the claim they have submitted is a valid vehicle accident claim.
Rory Judd, Head of Online Marketing at MiWay notes that in the confusion that may follow an accident, policyholders could forget to gather important information that is necessary to ensure a smooth claims processing. “The MiWay App is designed to make the process as simple as possible. A step by step tool prompts the client to use their smartphone to take pictures of the accident scene, record the damage to vehicles and capture the details of other parties and witnesses. When convenient, the claim can be submitted together with the accident details via the MiWay App,” he says.
The company explains that the benefits for clients do not end there – users may also request roadside assistance to their exact location, instantly notify up to three contacts that they need assistance, request a call back from MiWay Client Services and locate the nearest inspection centres.
Now we just want to know if a car cellphone charger is part of the package…
