The new website (http://www.agbroker.co.za/) will have a very positive spin-off for the independent Broker as it offers an instant online quoting facility, a portfolio management tool and most of all, convenience and increased control.

Commenting on the launch of the new website, director of Auto & Generals Broker Division, Lars Forssman said: “Service excellence is the name of the game and constant innovation and product improvement is how we have managed to retain our leading position in the marketplace. The launch of our new and improved Broker website is testimony to our firm commitment to our Broker partners as it will aid in increasing profitability and enhancing client satisfaction.”

The new website will feature online quoting functionality which will allow Brokers to secure instant quotes on Auto & Generals available product range. The step-by-step quoting facility also allows Brokers the option to access, amend and close existing quotes, which will then be forwarded to an Auto & General call centre consultant. The call centre consultant will then contact the client on the Brokers behalf and voice log the conclusion of the sale. “This process forms the basis of our value proposition to intermediaries during a time when the industry is dealing with the consequences of increased compliance demands, costly administration and strong marketplace competition,” says Forssman.

The website also boasts a unique but simple Management Information System, which, will reflect the Brokers performance in terms of leads, sales, cancellations and commission statements. Brokers will also be able to log claims, track claims, log queries, view any correspondence to their clients, view a list of approved service providers contracted by Auto & General, view Auto & Generals current advertisements and Public Relations material and view and obtain contractual agreements.

With regards to Auto & Generals Business Insurance offering, at a click of a button, Brokers can now request one of Auto & Generals sales agents to contact and provide them with speedy quotes and up to date product information in a downloadable format, which will be sent to the Broker that same day.
